The Seaweed Dress

In February 2022, I was approached by the inimitable Yamila Saud to create a dress made from seaweed for a charity campaign- the goal being to raise money for the water crisis in Vera Cruz, Mexico. After scouring the pacific coast for bullwhip kelp, red ocho and algae, I was able to create a two piece dress over the next 3 months. With Yamila as the model, the dress was shot in Malibu by celebrity photographer Jack Guy. We are in the process of transforming these photo's into NFTs and will be releasing them during an event in LA, in September 2022.
