
Rental and Purchasing Terms of Service
ABOUT OUR SERVICES: Our services include rental services. Customers can rent clothing items for a period of time and return the item according to policies in this section. Alternatively, clothing may also be purchased outright for the listed sale price.
COST OF SERVICES: The cost of each rental will be determined by the type of item rented, the duration of the rental, and any additional services requested. The sale price will also be listed accordingly for eligible items. If, during a rental period, outright purchase of an item is desired, monthly rental fees will be contributed towards balance of sale. In this scenario, we request that you contact us at createdbysume@gmail.com to provide the final discounted sale invoice.
RETURN POLICY: Fit-returns are granted if an item is shipped back within 24 hours of receipt. Returns and refunds on sold items are on a case by case basis and can be requested by contacting us at createdbysume@gmail.com. Example circumstances under which they may be granted include: inaccurate size/measurement information, fabric information, matters of inventory etc. which will be determined at the sole discretion of by.sume.
RESERVATIONS/RENTALS: The reservation or rental process must be completed online on our website. All information provided by customers must be accurate and up-to-date. Payment must be made in full at the time of reservation or rental, using one of our accepted payment methods. We reserve the right to deny a rental if provided a mailing address that is a P.O. Box or a mailing address that is unverifiable. Once a rental has been confirmed, we cannot modify or cancel orders without prior authorization from us.
USE OF PRODUCTS: Customers are responsible for handling the rented items with care and returning them in their original condition. Any damage or loss incurred while the item is in your possession will be charged to you according to our Damage and Loss Policy.
PRODUCT AND SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS: We have done our best to accurately describe all products offered by us but we cannot guarantee that descriptions are always accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.
DELIVERY: Full cost of delivery of rental items will be included in a flat $5 fee. In addition, a complimentary pre-paid label will be sent to customers with their rental for return shipping. Customers must inspect the item upon receipt for any visible damages prior to accepting delivery from us.
RETURNS AND LOST ITEMS: All rental items must be returned on or before the due date specified in our Return Policy. We are not responsible for any item that is lost, stolen or damaged while in your possession, and you agree to indemnify us for all losses incurred as a result of such occurrences.
BILLING AND PAYMENTS: All payments must be made with a valid payment method, accepted by us and outlined on our website. You authorize us to charge all fees and charges associated with each rental transaction to the designated payment method at the time of confirmation of reservation or rental. If
HOW RECURRING BILLING WORKS: Our services are billed on a recurring basis until canceled by you through our website’s account management page. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the billing cycle in which it was made.
INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CUSTOMERS: Customers must provide accurate and up-to-date information while using our Services. If inaccurate or incomplete information is provided, we reserve the right to refuse rental transactions or terminate / suspend your account.
PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION: By providing a payment method to us, you authorize us to charge all applicable fees and charges associated with your rental transactions. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Once the rental has started, if at any point your payment method fails, you will be notified in order to replace this with another payment method. You may additionally be invoiced for outstanding charges. You hereby confirm that you understand these charges and that you will promptly submit payment due no greater than 10 days after receiving notice.

RENTAL CANCELATION POLICY: You may cancel an existing rental by returning an item using the pre-paid shipping label provided. The rental will be canceled by us upon confirmation that the item has been posted using the provided shipping label. We prohibit termination of a rental from the user’s Dashboard any time before return shipment of the item has taken place. If your label has been lost, please contact us (createdbysume@gmail.com) so that a shipping label can be promptly re-generated and sent. If your rental is canceled prior to the item being returned we reserve the right to invoice you for the amount of time that lapses until the rental is posted. RENTAL DAMAGE AND LOSS POLICY: You shall be responsible for all damage, breakage and/or loss of rented item, except for normal wear and tear and unavoidable casualties (as deemed by the company (by.sume) in its sole discretion) which may result from your use. You agree that rented items will be in the same condition upon return as it was at the time of delivery, reasonable wear and tear and damage by unavoidable fire and casualty are the only exceptions. You understand that the Property will be inspected prior to shipment of your rental and upon your rental return. You acknowledge any loss and/or damage to the Property will result in a charge or charges for repair and/or replacement value. The labor cost of repair may range between $25 - $100, and will be determined based on severity / reason for damage. Replacement value is equivalent to the sale price of the item. You hereby confirm that you understand these charges will be expeditiously invoiced and you will promptly (and in no event more than 10 days after receiving the invoice) submit the moneys due for full cost of the replacement or repair.
CONSENT TO RECEIVE PERIODIC MESSAGES: You consent to receive periodic messages from us related to your use of our Services and agree that these messages are not Spam. The messages may include notices about your account (e.g., payment authorizations, change in password or Payment Method, confirmation emails and other transactional information) and are part of your relationship with us. You also agree that we may provide communications in electronic form either by email to the address you have provided us, or by posting them on our website. All communications in electronic format will be considered “in writing” and will constitute notice under any law requiring such notice be made in writing.
