How the Rental's Work:
Rent
The best way to rent is to check the sizes and measurements using our handy iphone to inches conversion guide.
Rentals are offered on weekly and/or monthly basis and prices are listed for each item. And good news!! Rental prices are inclusive of complimentary delivery and return shipping!

And more good news- there is no due date for your rental. You simply checkout and your rental will begin.

Receive
We will promptly verify* the mailing information and you will receive the item between 3-5 business days after checking out.

Once you receive your piece please inspect it and try it on for fit. If it doesn't fit please ship it back within 24 hours for a full refund.* Similarly, please email us if there are any issues before wearing! Also- safely file away the included shipping return label (but no worries if you lose it, we can always email you another one!)

* we do not allow shipping to P.O. boxes. If there are any issues outside of that when verifying an address we will reach out!

* as an incentive to use the conversion guide, and to nail down fit on the first try (so we reduce emissions from shipping!) we will provide you with a $5 credit towards your next purchase / rental if you do not place a fit-return on your piece.
Wear
Now all that's left to do is wear away! Almost all pieces are best handwashed or washed on a gentle cycle (unless otherwise specified!) & If you take any pics in these peices please share them with us on instagram (@by.sume) or over email.
and If you love the piece and would like to make it a permanent part of your wardrobe, we attribute the rental fees you accrued during your rental period towards the final sale price!*

*Just let us know via email that you would like to purchase the piece and we will send you an invoice for the outstanding cost <3
Return
When returning, there is no need to dry clean or wash- that part is on us! We just ask that (besides general wear and tear) you return the piece the condition it was received!

If you are ready to return your rental, you can do so by sending your item back using the complimentary pre-paid shipping label. Once we see that the item has been posted (i.e. tracking has begun) we will terminate the rental, and end the billing by prorating it after the first month.*
*We ask that you do not terminate the rental from your portal otherwise we may need to invoice you if additional time lapses between ending the rental and posting the item

Your rental will renew each month on the same date. If you return a piece before the next billing cycle, we are happy to prorate it (provided that it has been rented for at least one month)

We ask that you carefully read the Rental Terms of Service before renting such that you fully understand the rental prograM!
Are there cleaning or maintenance costs?
We have this taken care of for you! We take care of cleaning each piece and restoring it back to perfect condition! While there are no cleaning or maintenance costs associated with our clothing rentals, we ask that all items be returned in the same condition they were received :)
Is there a minimum rental period I need to commit to?
No, there is no minimum rental period. You may keep the item as long as you need and return it when you are finished. However, return fees may be applied in unique circumstances according to our Terms of Service. Please refer to the Rental Cancellation Policy specifically for more information!
Is there a maximum rental period I should be aware of?
Not at all! In fact, once you have paid the entire sale price of an item in recurring rental fees, it is your's to keep! We understand that sometimes the try-before-you-buy scenario can lead to you falling in love with something and we never want that to mean that you are penalized for having rented it instead of buying it!
Is it possible to pro-rate my rental?
Yes! After your first rental term passes (i.e. either a week or a month depending on the option you selected) we can prorate the rental based on the day you put it in the post to send it back (rounded up to the nearest dollar)
Do you accept returns on rentals if they do not fit?
In order to encourage a reduction in emission from unnecessary shipping, we ask that you use the iphone to inches conversion guide to confirm measurement of an item for fit! There are also numerous sizing details about each product in the product descriptions and if you email us, we would be happy to answer any questions.
However if it still doesn't fit, please ship it back within 24 hours, so we can provide a full refund (as we want you to feel confident in your look above everything else)!
